Join us on Saturday April 18th, 2020, for the ninth annual A Journey Into Islam exhibition and open house. A Journey Into Islam is an initiative undertaken by the youth of the Az-Zahraa Islamic Centre, designed to convey the core beliefs and practices of the Islamic faith in an engaging and comprehensible manner. We aim to create a comfortable environment in which guests are welcome to ask questions and establish fruitful dialogue with members of our community.
The goal of the event is to showcase our faith through an evening full of interactive exhibits, guided tours of our beautiful Centre filled with Islamic history and artifacts, and a tasty gala-style dinner. The exhibits are designed to address various elements of our faith and to clear long-standing misconceptions regarding Islam. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Environment’. The environment is an essential component of not just our lives today, but also our future. This year, we hope to explore crucial role of the environment, from the inception of the faith all the way to modern times. We look forward to having you join us!
